State of Intent
This is a poster for 2020 Golden Gate Park Event. The concept was to invoke the excitement of people are at festival. The yellow, orange, and blue of the background represent the sunrise and sunset so that the audience knows they are morning events and night events. I filled the small letter e’s counter which made unique shapes and because e is in each row, it creates a repetition along with the circles which are aligning horizontally.
ポスターを通じて人々にフェスティバルの興奮を伝えることが今回のコンセプト。黄色、オレンジ、そして青の背景色は朝日と夕日を表すことで午前と午後のイベントがあることを間接的に伝えている。ｅの中を塗りつぶすことで独特の形を形成。また、ｅがタイトルの各行にあり、周囲の丸と水平に並んでいることで反復を作り出している。

The events are separated by morning and night events. Proxima Nova is used for event details and the title, while the dates are written in Meta Serif Pro which has its unique shape that creates a flow throughout the poster. This project was a great exercise in organizing large amounts of text and coming up with our own grid system.
イベントは朝と夜に分かれている。Proxima Novaはイベントの詳細とタイトルに使用し、フォント自体がユニークな形を持ったMeta Serif Proを日付に使用することでポスターに流れを作っている。長文をまとめたり、自分なりのレイアウトに磨きをかけるとても良いプロジェクトだった。
